Tattoo removals are on the rise in South Florida
Regrets and second thoughts are not uncommon. About 24 percent of 18- to 50-year-olds have tattoos, according to the American Academy of Dermatology. And 17 percent of them say they have considered removal, for reasons including a change in lifestyle or personal tastes, pressure to fit in at a job, or, during late middle age, a changing skin tone that distorts the image.
